Tired of the existing gods? Are you waiting for a new religion?

Well, you might be in luck. Futorologists predict that the time is ripe for the emergence of a new mainstream religion. Many place their money on environment being the central theme of the new religion.

Not surprisingly, I was a skeptical of the idea. But, not for long. Over the last few months, I have heard my 5 1/2  year old son progressively talk about the ozone layer, the holes in the ozone layer, global warming,  its impact on the environment, high temperatures, melting of ice in the North / South poles, drowning of countries,  … 2012 like scenarios. And today, he came back from school with his Save Me drawing of a tiger.

A religion based on environment? I now say – not too far in the future.
