A friend of mine – Mukund (an IT software consulting professional) recently took a 3 month sabbatical from work to make a movie (read the published story here). He has always dreamt about directing a movie ..so he took the necessary steps to make it a reality – planned, worked on the details for long before taking the plunge, slogged during those 3 months & continues to pour in effort to market his movie. He has also had to produce the movie.

Another interesting thing (for me) that Mukund did was to actively enlist a group of well wishers for his venture. All through the past few months, he has kept us updated on progress & milestones, asked for ideas / suggestions & basically kept a sizeable group involved. As a result of this, I am now blogging his story too spread word about his venture & hoping that he would benefit in any way possible.
