Site specific search in Google

Today, I came across this useful way of Googling content within a specific site. Though the Advanced Search feature should be covering this, the below is a simple tip for more effective searches.
Usage in Google — “site: site_name search_string

For example, if I need to find out all mentions of Gita in my customer centricity blog http://whencustomersrule.blogspot.com/, my Google search would be :

“site: whencustomersrule.blogspot.com Gita”
(ignore the ” in the above)
